Each thinking site is located in a corner of (the space between) familiarity, ritual, and desire. This site specific work located on my college’s campus (Birmingham-Southern College) gets its shape from one of my mapped thought diagrams of the same title. Each site marks a physical place for personal contemplation/reflection. A stool is provided at each site so that thinkers can remain within the thinking site while facing any direction. Also, each site is located in a commonly frequented place for thinking/working by me and other students.
Each site is an enlargement of its corresponding corner of the thinking sites shape as seen in my original mapped thought diagram. The framework for each site references pyramidal shapes found in enlarged details in maps.
